The author

Mark Finnis is the author of Independent Thinking On Restorative Practice: Building Relationships, Improving Behaviour and Creating Stronger Communities, published with Crown House and Independent Thinking Press.

Mark has been working with leaders and their teams to create shifts in thinking, practice and culture in schools and organisations. As a leading expert in restorative and relational practice, in 2019 Mark received the Chris Donovan Trust’s Restorative Practice Champion award in recognition for his work nationally, and in 2024 was invited to The Royal Garden Party for recognition of his work in children services.
