L30 also delivers a new and unique training model – Deep dive practice development groups
This new and innovative approach is designed to deliver skills based learning that will promote and embed practice.
The format for the programme is based on action learning principles, learning, questioning, reflecting and building on current strengths. I will use restorative principles to assist participants in clarifying group protocols, giving direct input and facilitating group reflection.
Groups will meet initially for a session, which will provide an introduction to the key principles of restorative practice.
This will be followed by a four modules of action learning sets to develop skills, identify what good practice is and to share experiences in collaboration with others.
These four sets will cover: – Developing a restorative mind-set and building community, restorative conversations and language, dealing with conflict and finally practice sustainability
The session will be held every four to six weeks to maintain momentum of their learning and at each session participants will agree a gap task (homework) to practice skills learnt and bring back their learning to the next session.
All training delivered will provide delegates with the practical skills & underpinning knowledge, enabling them to use restorative and relational practice immediately on completion of training.
L30 offer consultancy at all levels – to help implement and embed the whole system approach to restorative and relational based practice. With strategic intent, through system change, including policies and real practitioner development that will achieve positive outcomes and impact – All done through modelling relational, collaborative and a restorative approach.
We can also come into your organisation or department to facilitate restorative conferences and mediation for you. At L30 we very vastly experienced facilitators who can fully support with specific issues, in any settings; from schools, with families, across communities, in the justice system, within HR and complaints processes and across business to name but a few.
